What Insurances do you accept?
We are currently in the process of privileging with most insurance carriers in the local market. We are already on several panels but some carriers are closed at this moment for new enrollment. In the case that you carry an insurance program we don't participate in, call your Insurance company. If your insurance carrier allows for out of panel visits we will be more than willing to take care of your healthcare issues. We will make sure that you will not be penalized for visiting our office. Call us to find out what all insurance carriers we are already in contract with. In case your health care carrier does not allow out of network visits, or if you do not have health insurance coverage call our office to find out more about self-pay options.
Are there any weekend appointments?
Weekend appointments may be given on a "as needed" basis. We will have regular weekend hours in the future.
What is "Board Certified" mean?
If your doctor is certified by an ABMS Member Board, it means that he or she is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through a rigorous, voluntary commitment to lifelong learning through board certification. In addition to completing years of schooling, fulfilling residency requirements and passing the exams required to practice medicine in your state, your board-certified specialist participates in an ongoing process of continuing education to keep current with the latest advances in medical science and technology in his or her specialty as well as best practices in patient safety, quality healthcare and creating a responsive patient-focused environment.
How accessible is your practice? How do we contact the doctor after hours?
All days other than Friday and weekend we allow walk in appointments. The medical practice main number can direct you to the answering service or to the doctor's cell phone directly. If there is an urgent question or concern that needs attention, the doctor will give you a call in an hour. If the issue is something that can wait, like a refill request, leave the message. We also offer eVisit service for convenient access. If you are having a true emergency, call 911.
